Terroir
Murfatlar is a name that has made and continues to make history here, on the fertile lands of Dobrogea.
This name, with a millennia-old tradition, is closely linked to a unique microclimate. Year after year, it further enhances the distinct characteristics of the grape varieties cultivated here.
The limestone-rich soil provides the perfect foundation for producing noble wines. Over time, the wines produced here have left their mark on the global stage.
Not coincidentally, the Murfatlar region has been proclaimed the pearl of Romanian wines. Today, the company and the people of Murfatlar carry on this legacy.

The richness of the grape varieties is evident. For example, Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Muscat Ottonel grapes, at full maturity, exhibit a brilliant yellow color with a nectar-like sweetness. From these grapes, exceptional wines are crafted, enticing in their aging process, and alluring to those who appreciate an authentic fine wine.

The fame of the vineyard and Murfatlar's wines is a result of the steppe climate, with abundant sunshine that benefits the vines, ensuring the concentration of sugars in the grape berries. It's also attributed to the limestone-carved terraces and state-of-the-art laboratories that turn experiments into success.

Grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Fetească Neagră, Merlot and Pinot Noir produce grapes brimming with sparkling aromas, ennobled by their unique flavors and a rich palette of ruby hues. After cultivation, we obtain wines that are perfect, unmistakable and unforgettable.
