Murfatlar Vinul achieved remarkable results at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2024, winning two gold and three silver medals. The event, which took place in Guanajuato, Mexico, brought together the best wines from various global wine regions, and our wines were recognized for their excellence.
The competition, held from June 7th to 9th in Guanajuato, Mexico, is one of the most prestigious international wine contests. At this edition, Murfatlar was awarded two gold medals: one for 3 Hectare Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2023 and another for 3 Hectare Chardonnay 2022. Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2023 is appreciated for its fresh berry aromas and balanced acidity, while Chardonnay 2022 stands out for its complexity, featuring tropical fruit notes and a slight hint of vanilla from oak barrel aging.
We also received two silver medals: for 3 Hectare Sauvignon Blanc 2023, a wine with fresh aromas of wildflowers and tropical fruits, and for Aerosoli Fetească Neagră & Pinot Noir Rosé 2023, an elegant blend with delicate aromas of raspberry and citrus. Statornic Sauvignon Blanc 2022 also received a silver medal, offering pleasant acidity and fresh green fruit notes.
